Introducing Seamore the Stacer Hippo
Stacer’s mascot has been named ‘Seamore’ thanks to Trevour Tucker of South Australia, the winner of Stacer’s online ‘Name the Stacer Hippo’ competition.
Mr Tucker suggested Seamore because “for fishing success anglers choose Stacer every time”.
National Sales and Marketing Manager Damien Duncan said the ‘Name the Stacer Hippo’ competition was a great success.
“Over 500 entries flooded in via the Stacer website with some great names and creative reasons for choosing them,” Damien said.
“It was a tough job trying to choose six finalists and from these ultimately the winner.
“We hope all six finalists enjoy their Stacer fishing tackle pack valued at $280,” he said.
The following five entrants make up the complete list of six finalists and will also receive a Stacer fishing tackle pack:
Burley (Leah Bryan, QLD)
Sunny (Paul Muenchow, WA)
Happy (Kevin Duggan, NSW)
Stanley (Corrin New, WA)
High-tide (Brett McKenzie, QLD)
Stacer’s online ‘Name the Hippo’ competition ran from 20th December, 2007 to 1st May, 2008.
