Both models have been designed for fisherman in the top end, offering an economic boating solution that is not only a sure value for money; it is able to satisfy the needs of any serious fisherman.

Stacer Director of Sales and Marketing Manager Damien Duncan said the Northern Fishers are a unique addition to the Nomad range.

“The 489 and 529 Northern Fisher models have been designed to come in at an economical price but offer everything a keen fisherman is after,” he said.

“Highlight features of these models include a tall centre console offering 360 degrees of manoeuvrability combined with a huge amount of carpeted deck space with a raised carpeted casting platform.

“They are also built on Stacer’s smooth riding Evo hull with a deep vee from stem to stern to slice through chop and wide down turned chines for superb stability at rest,” he said.

The 489 Northern Fisher is the smaller of the two models, and has an overall length of 5.12 metres with a beam of 2.2 metres and is rated to a 60 horsepower engine.

For those wanting more in size and power, the 529 Northern Fisher measures at an overall length of 5.51 metres with a 2.32 metre beam and is rated to a 75 horsepower engine.

Both Northern Fisher models are able to carry up to five passengers in cruising comfort with a variety of features on offer, including a spacious casting platform, four Stacer rod holders and two side pockets to store fishing gear, transom step and rail for accessibility, a bow mount thruster plate and 70 litre fuel tank, with many more features included.

Stacer offer customers the ability to add extra options to these models with the choice of a bimini and envelope for sun safe protection, the technology of Northstar Fish Sounders to help with finding the perfect catch or Northstar VHF radio and antenna for clear communications.

For those wanting to enjoy a longer fishing adventure there is the option to upgrade to a 118 litre fuel tank, and the recommended option of underfloor seat positions for fishing comfort where it is needed.
